Litesport, a VR fitness company, offers immersive strength and full-body workouts led by expert trainers, all within a virtual reality environment.

Gorodenkoff Productions was tasked with producing a commercial for Litesport’s new “Daily Dash” training mode, available in the Litesport VR Fitness App on the Meta Store.

Brief: Create a video commercial to promote an update to the Litesport Virtual Fitness app. Present new “Daily Dash” training mode and improved gameplay.

Production

The foundation of the Litesport commercial’s visual narrative relied on a sophisticated Virtual Production approach. A fully rendered 3D loft apartment, created for Unreal Engine, served as the initial setting. This virtual set was specifically designed to perfectly blend with the physical shooting location, providing a consistent visual backdrop before the dynamic CGI gameplay sequence was initiated.

A pivotal visual element of the Litesport commercial involved a dynamic CGI sequence that smoothly integrated the user’s real-world action with an engaging in-app experience. Beginning with a subtle foot stomp in the live-action setting, the familiar living room floor dramatically transformed into a moving obstacle course.

This transition into a gamified experience, where a CGI avatar mirrors the user’s movements: running, jumping, avoiding obstacles, and collecting rewards along the dynamically generated path, effectively illustrating the app’s interactive and motivating gameplay features.

It was, as always, a dynamic and enjoyable process working on a Litesport project, integrating live-action and Unreal Engine environments in our Virtual Production studio.
